"Goldstein ...inviting the listener to consider the modernity .. of Bach, while exposing the deeply ancient roots in more contemporary pieces .. by Alan Hovhaness and even Jelly Roll Morton ...Debussy's 'Bruyere (Feathers)' is full of emotive power..."
—Matt Swayne
(Centre Daily Times)

Arthur Goldstein is a pianist and composer who works in both classical and jazz idioms. INTERSECTIONS reflects this dual interest as well as his commitment to 20th century piano music. There are works by Hovhaness, Debussy, some original music, as well as pieces by Jelly Roll Morton and Frank Proto. Tradition is represented by a Reading of Bach's "Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue."

Available at all performances, The Music Mart and Robert M. Sides in State College, and online through CD Baby.
